Exhibit AI · North's media arm

Social Media Manager

New York City · hybrid (3 days/week)Full-time · Early-career (0-2 yrs)● Open

Exhibit AI is North's media arm: a daily AI briefing read by attorneys, live events, and sharp little tools for real legal workflows. The bet is simple. Lawyers are drowning in AI hype and starving for signal, and Exhibit AI gives it to them every day.

This is the first growth hire. You own social, turn great content into a fast-growing, engaged audience, and build the distribution muscle everything else compounds on. You will set the playbook, not inherit one.

What you own

  • Run all social channels for Exhibit AI: LinkedIn first, then X, plus the emerging platforms where lawyers actually are.
  • Turn the daily newsletter and our point of view into native social content: posts, threads, short video, graphics.
  • Grow subscribers and following month over month, and own the funnel between them.
  • Develop the brand voice on social: smart, fast, slightly irreverent, never hype-y.
  • Run experiments on formats, hooks, and cadences, and double down on what works.
  • Build relationships with legal-AI voices, creators, and our own readers.
  • Report on growth weekly: what moved, what did not, what is next.

What we look for

  • 0-2 years building an audience online, for a brand, a creator, a startup, or yourself. A personal account you grew counts.
  • Native fluency in how content actually spreads on LinkedIn and X.
  • A strong writer with a fast, clear, punchy instinct who can make a dense idea land in two lines.
  • Genuinely curious about AI and able to learn a vertical fast.
  • Scrappy and self-directed; you ship constantly and do not wait for a brief.
  • Comfortable looking at what performed and adjusting.

Nice to have

  • Experience with short-form video, on-camera or editing.
  • Design chops (Figma, Canva, basic motion).
  • Familiarity with newsletter tooling and growth tactics.
  • Any exposure to legal, professional services, or B2B media.

Compensation

Competitive salary plus meaningful early-stage equity. Discussed during the process.
